Business Integrity, Corporate Governance and Transparency
The group as a minimum requires compliance to governing legislation, regulation and industry standards. Professional integrity and expertise underpins the way in which activities are approved and undertaken across the group with no known material breaches occurring in the last 3 years.
Whilst Storsack Group is a privately owned company, in the light of recent high profile scandals such as Enron and Worldcom, good corporate governance is integral to the way in which we do business. Key committees are in place to ensure Executive oversight is maintained across all of our activities. This is further strengthened by the establishment of key reporting structures throughout the Group.
The organisational structure effectively acts as the corporate’s veins enabling strong and effective communication from/to the Executive. Accountability is defined and responsibility understood across the Group via embedded policies and procedures. People are the lifeblood of the organisation and our commitment to them is reenforced through continual professional development and evaluation.
Employment
The group prohibits and discourages all kinds of discrimination relating to ethic and moral values. This is carefully monitored though all stages of our production, recruitment and selection processes. All production sites must as a minimum adhere to local health and safety legislation. This is reenforced through our continual professional development of all employees.
Storsack Group’s strength is our employees.We recognize the potential of our employees and help them to develop themselves their careers in line with their personal and professional goals through periodic review and performance evaluation.
Human Rights
Storsack Group supports and complies with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All our subsidiaries comply with the local and international regulations.
No know material violation has occurred over the past 3 years. Periodic training is performed in line with local legislation.
Safety and Occupational Health
This is performed in line with local legislation. In the UK for example records are held and checks are periodically undertaken. No lost time accidents or injuries recorded.
Environment
Our policy is no-waste production in clean environment without pollution. All our companies are governed by international standards and procedures and controlled through periodic audits to ensure the conformity of procedures: GMP, ISO 9002, 9001 and ISO 14000.
In addition a number of projects and initiatives are underway with our partners and customers, actively seeking environmental and cost effective solutions to waste management.
No recorded violations have taken place.
As mentioned above we actively work in partnership with our customers to find environmentally acceptable solutions.
Communities
Storsack Group supports local community initiatives through participating in social projects and traditional events, including sponsorship, charitable donations.
